How do I get help?
Email us at support@modexe.com and describe what you ran into — the device you're on (iPhone, iPad, or Mac), what you expected, and what happened. We read every message.
How does sync work?
Modexe is local-first: your content lives on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, it also syncs through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) storage, so the same notes appear on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. There's no Modexe account and no Modexe server — we can't see your content. If you're not signed in to iCloud, everything simply stays local to that device.
How do I restore or manage my purchase?
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. To restore a previous purchase, open Modexe and use “Restore Purchases” in settings — your Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple Account. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.
How do I export my data?
Your data is yours to take with you. Export your writing to plain Markdown and your tables to CSV at any time from within the app — no lock-in.
